Susan Jones is local basketmaker and paper artist. Susan enjoys exploring the ancient art of basketry while creating one-of-a-kind sculptural weavings. Living near the ocean most of her life, she realized just how much water has influenced her work. The fluidity of water, its free and unpredictable movement, and ever-evolving new shapes all inspire the organic feel of her weavings.
